Good morning, dear family,
Wishing you a blessed Sunday!
As we prepare and go to the house of the Lord today, I would encourage you to imagine the picture of Heaven. It is written in the Bible that in heaven there will be multitudes of people from every nation, language and tribe coming together to worship God.
Joseph was given the task of going and looking after the well being of his brothers. He knew that they did not like him, yet he agreed to go to Shechem. He did not find them there. He could have returned, but the love for his brothers made him search intently for them and finish the task. He followed and searched for them till a place called Dothan.
““I’m looking for my brothers,” Joseph replied. “Do you know where they are pasturing their sheep?””
Genesis 37:16 NLT
Similarly, Jesus Christ could have refused to come down to Earth for people who were wicked and unrepentant even after witnessing and experiencing God’s miracles, encounters, visions, prophetic words and receiving promises. But He chose to come down for you and me. Unlike Joseph who had no idea what his brothers would do to him, Jesus knew that his coming involved giving up his life. He lived a Holy life and became a Holy Sacrifice for our sins. Raised on the third day, He was taken to heaven. He will come back again to take us Home.
“There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.”
John 14:2-3 NLT
One day we will be with every believer in Heaven to worship God. But today, like Joseph, let’s meet and fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Love. let us join them in worshipping the True and Living God here on earth!
“After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a great roar, “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings. And they fell before the throne with their faces to the ground and worshiped God. They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.””
Revelation 7:9-12 NLT
Amen 🙏
