“Conclusion Part – 1”
Good morning dear family,
As we conclude the study of the Letter of Love to the church of Philippi, Apostle Paul is emphasising on “Training our Minds” to focus on things that matter in eternity.
“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
Philippians 4:8
A few lessons on the final message:
1. TRUE : Let us be the Seekers of Truth. Hunger and Thirst for the Word will drive us closer to the truth.
2. HONOURABLE : Let us live lives that Honours God and in turn experience how God honours our commitments.
3. RIGHT : Thinking and doing what is right even if we have to stand alone . We serve a Righteous God and that must reflect in our thoughts and actions.
4. PURE : We should pursue holiness. The Word of God encourages us where God says,”Be Holy for I am Holy”.
5. LOVELY : In Genesis 1 we see how God looked at His Creation and said “It is Good”. Let’s continue to express our gratitude to all the good things God has done and provided in His grace.
6. ADMIRABLE : David ends his Psalm 23 with an assurance -“ Surely God’s Goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, ….”. Let us pause to Admire the goodness of God as we live this beautiful day God has given us.
“Letter of Love” – How beautiful is the Word of God. Many have written back on how this study has blessed them and I am so grateful to God for revealing and teaching us.
“Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”
