STEPPING INTO THE BLESSING

Good morning, dear family,
God could have blessed Abraham (Abram then) in Haran or Ur. Was He not able to make him a blessing to the world from his native land? Why did God ask Abraham to Leave?
“The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.””
Genesis 12:1-3 NLT
Three action points:
1. Set out and make God your PRIORITY
2. Step into God’s SOVEREIGNTY
3. Rise up to be with God in ETERNITY
By leaving every comfort in obedience to God’s call, Abraham became a Patriarch of Faith. So much so that through the rest of the Bible, God introduces Himself as  the God of Abraham. Just pause and think of this aspect of faith.
If God is asking us to leave our comfort zone and follow His direction, He has already begun to make us a Blessing. As we take our first step of obedience, we are actually stepping into His glory. He is transforming us into an Instrument in His hands to bless the nations around us. Let us obey the call of God and step into His Blessing to become a Blessing.
“But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.”
Hebrews 11:16 NLT
Amen 🙏
