Good morning, dear family,
To my friends and families who are involved in different forms of art, music, architecture, science and research, you would understand the meaning of “a Masterpiece”. Each time one of you begins to draw a sketch or build a structure, the objective is to make the best of your work. And your requirement is to have the best of resources available to make sure it is still better out of it.
But when God called us His Masterpiece, the whole aspect is reversed or changed. He uses a worst of a person like me, carefully cleans me, start working on me with all my stubborn attitude and sinful nature, and transforms me to present before the Master of masters, Lord God our Creator – as a bright, sinless, righteous person.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Ephesians 2:10 NLT
What kind of love is this? Inexpressible, unchanged, selfless and sacrificial – In Love God chose to become a man, lived among men to show them the Truth that He is, set our Hearts to eternity- This Love is called Good News of God/The Gospel/The Kerygma – That God gave Himself for the sins of the mankind to redeem them (us) from the clutches of eternal death and to give Life Eternal.
“For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.””
Romans 1:16-17 NLT
My prayer this morning for each one of us is this, that no matter what happens around us, may we continue to be drawn closer to God, allowing Him to Work upon us, to surrender our desires to His perfect will and may God, in His grace, continue to build us as His very own people – The Masterpiece.
