When the Word says “Every Knee shall Bow, Every Tongue Confess, That Jesus Christ is Lord”, my thoughts went around to each individual in my context who rejected the Authority in the Name of Jesus Christ. And how it will be on the day of the Lord, all mighty men and women, of past, present and even of future would take a bow in front of Almighty Jesus Christ.
This has happened in the past. Daniel interpreted the dream of king Nebuchadnezzar. He not only saved his own life, but also saved the lives of the fellow scholars. Secondly he testified before the king that there is a King enthroned in Heaven who is above every other authority in heaven and earth.
“Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate before Daniel and paid him honor and ordered that an offering and incense be presented to him. The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.””
Daniel 2:46-47 NIV
1. King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate in worship to the Lord in-front of His Servant Daniel.
2. King Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged the Supremacy of Daniel’s God.
3. Daniel was glorified and promoted because His God fought the battle on his side.
Let’s worship and adore our Living and Loving God who has chosen us to display His greatness and might to the authorities of this world.
