FROM VICTORY TO VICTORY
Thank you for praying for us as a family. We are grateful to each one of you who stood with us through this season. Today is the last day of February 2025. Two months of this new year has already gone. Thanking God for His presence and His Power through this season.
Daniel 6 is about God rescuing Daniel from lion’s den. We all know this episode by heart.
“At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?” Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.””
Daniel 6:19-22 NIV
This was the conversation recorded in Bible from the Lion’s Den. Two things to ponder upon:
1. Lion’s Den-Presence of God: This place was meant to be a grave for a child of God but God turned it into a place of Worship with His Presence. This was the only time when the sound that came out of the Lion’s Den was of joy and of the glorious worship with the Presence of God.
2. Lion’s Den-Power of God: This place symbolically represented the Grave where Jesus walked out Victorious, declaring Life in the Power of God, defeating death. At the dawn of the next day when king went to check, mouths of the lions were shut and Daniel’s was open to testify the Power of God.
“Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
Psalms 16:9-11 NIV
