AHEAD OF GOD

Someone asked, “How can a man become God?”. The Bible denies and called it a sin if any man or angel trying to become God. Bible is the love story of God, where God became man, humbled Himself to be born as a man, lived among the men to proclaim the Kingdom of God, gave Himself as a Ransom for the sin of entire mankind, was buried and is risen on third day to declare the defeat of eternal death.

God loved us so much that He gave His only Son. If this love story does not bring each one of us to the Cross of Jesus Christ, with a heart of repentance and worship, then nothing else is remaining in Heaven that can save us from eternal death.

Here at Sarjapur, we always share the Gospel/Kerygma with each other and remind ourselves of our Savior’s great love and sacrifice every time we come together either as the hall church or the house church.

First King of Israel, Saul committed the same sin as that of Lucifer, in his haste and arrogance, he went ahead of God to disobey and fall into the trap of the evil one.

“Some Hebrews even crossed the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. Saul remained at Gilgal, and all the troops with him were quaking with fear. He waited seven days, the time set by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and Saul’s men began to scatter. So he said, “Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” And Saul offered up the burnt offering.”
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭13‬:‭7‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

How can we avoid becoming blind toward the standards of God:
1. Power in Patience -: Wait upon the Lord. Do not haste in our own understanding and power.
2. Power in Prayer -: as we wait for breakthrough, pray. Wars are won over the knees, ours is not even a small battle. Pray.
3. Power in Promise -: Trust in the lord 100%. Remember in past how He came for our rescue, He won’t disappoint us even today.

God loved us. He loves us. He loved us while we were still sinners. Let’s acknowledge Him as our Lord and submit ourselves to His Lordship. In every aspect of our lives, may He reign 100%.

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Amen 🙏
