Good morning, dear family,
When was the last time you saw a rainbow 🌈? How many of us know the reason for the rainbow? The Rainbow is a sign of God’s covenant with His creation, placed in the sky.
God made a promise that He would never destroy the world with water. “Then God said, “I am giving you a sign of my covenant with you and with all living creatures, for all generations to come. I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth.”
Genesis 9:12-13 NLT
Even today God remembers and keeps His promise made to Noah. But the same God also said that He would take an account of life spent and judge everyone.
The Cross of Calvary reminds us of another covenant of God. The covenant of life eternal: ““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 NLT
We live in the season of grace. God is still waiting for everyone to come to the grace flowing from the Cross of Calvary where the Son of God was given for the sins of mankind. The wickedness of mankind during Noah’s time brought the wrath of God upon the world. Today we live in a similar world.
Let’s make our lives a pleasing aroma to God, display the colourful rainbow covenant of God, that others would see it and turn to God.
