Good morning, dear family,
Have you experienced God closing or shutting a door for you? Sometimes, it’s difficult to understand God’s plan. When Noah entered the Ark with his family and the animals, he trusted God for provisions. With all the animals, birds and his family, Noah entered and God closed the door of the Ark.
“Two by two they came into the boat, representing every living thing that breathes. A male and female of each kind entered, just as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord closed the door behind them.”
Genesis 7:15-16 NLT
A few thoughts on God closing the door:
1. PROTECTION – You are safe inside. Remember they stayed inside the Ark for more than six months without sickness, without fights and without any lack.
2. POWER – When God closed the door, no power in the world could open it. Remember there were wicked people in the world, but God closed it so that no one could enter. Even Noah himself would not open it for anyone else.
3. PURPOSE – When God closes the door, there is a divine purpose behind it. God’s desire is to bless you. God’s Reset is the beautiful beginning for you.
If God has closed the door for you in your job, relationship, friendship or even in social media – it is His way of protecting you and doing good for you. He is helping you to reset your life. Noah did not open the door till the Purpose of God was served.
Let’s trust God even when He shuts the doors. Let’s experience God’s Protection, Power and serve His Purposes by obeying and living holy lives.
“So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.””
