Good morning, dear family,
Wishing you a Blessed First Sunday of the New Year!
Let us haste to worship God together! Let us worship Him with all our heart, soul and mind.
“Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and there he sacrificed as burnt offerings the animals and birds that had been approved for that purpose. And the Lord was pleased with the aroma of the sacrifice and said to himself, “I will never again curse the ground because of the human race, even though everything they think or imagine is bent toward evil from childhood. I will never again destroy all living things. As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.””
Genesis 8:20-22 NLT
Loneliness is no less than a punishment. Those who have families are the blessed ones. But imagine Noah stepping out of the ark into a world which, once full of noise, people and activities, is now destroyed and silent. His was the only family alive on this planet.
Yet the Bible records, Noah chose to worship God. His worship pleased God.
Maybe one of us is going through a real tough, lonely and impossible situation. I would encourage you to look at Noah. He stepped out of the ark and worshipped God. Today, step out of your situation and come to worship God with His people. God would be pleased with your worship and would bless you for your commitment.
“Then a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins. Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.””
Mark 12:42-44 NLT
Amen 🙏
