Good morning dear family,
Wishing you all a Blessed Sunday!
Finally, Jacob met his dreamer boy. There was no greater joy than meeting his son, whom he had considered dead.
_“As they neared their destination, Jacob sent Judah ahead to meet Joseph and get directions to the region of Goshen. And when they finally arrived there, Joseph prepared his chariot and traveled to Goshen to meet his father, Jacob. *When Joseph arrived, he embraced his father and wept, holding him for a long time.* Finally, Jacob said to Joseph, “Now I am ready to die, since I have seen your face again and know you are still alive.””_
Genesis 46:28-30 NLT
Through Jesus, when we approach God, it fills His heart with joy to see us alive again. Those of us who were dead in sin, are now alive through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Today, as we prepare to worship Him in His sanctuary, let’s go with a humble and grateful heart for what He has done for us.
_“When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision—the cutting away of your sinful nature. For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.”_
Colossians 2:11-15 NLT
Amen 🙏
