What Does God Want From Me?

HEBREWS 11:6 NKJ

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

We may be working ourselves to a frazzle trying to be perfect so we can please God.

We may have tried so hard and become so frustrated that we are about ready to give up. Well, maybe we should quit trying to be perfect on our own — because none of us will ever be perfect through our own efforts, anyway.

God knows we are human. He does not expect perfection out of we. If we were perfect we would not even need a Saviour.

God loves us and accepts us because He made us. And He is able to make us into what He desires for us to be — if we will trust Him and allow Him to work in us.

God wants us to trust Him. He wants our love and respect. He has certainly earned it and deserves it. Don’t let the devil keep us from giving to God what He really desires: our love and faith.

What does God desire from us? Not perfect performance — but total trust. God wants us to believe that He is good — a rewarder!

SAY THIS: I trust You Lord God. Thank You for loving me. I will rest in your love, instead of worrying about my performance. Work your will in me.
